2025 Accomplishments

I am honored to represent Needham residents as a member of the Select Board and to help make our town a fantastic place for all of us to live. Below are many of the ways I have served Needham residents during calendar year 2025.

Constituent Services

Responded to over 140 emails from residents, answering questions and addressing concerns

In addition to being accessible by email:

Held two in-person office hours throughout the year at Town Hall and PSAB
Visited over 30 downtown businesses on a weekend and received feedback about Envision Needham
Organized a neighborhood meeting for residents near Tower Hill regarding a proposed intersection reconfiguration
Participated in 11 community events, including Juneteenth, Memorial Day, India Day, MLK Jr. Day, and Race Amity Day
Initiated letter advocating for rate relief to the Department of Public Utilities regarding natural gas delivery charges

Policy

Implemented multi-family residential zoning in compliance with the MBTA Communities Law (adopted by Town Meeting in May 2025)

Revised Needham's Stormwater By-Law (adopted by Town Meeting in October 2025) and accompanying regulations (anticipated to be adopted in early 2026)

Boards & Committees

Actively participated in 38 Select Board meetings

Actively participated in 26 Stormwater By-Law Working Group meetings. The revised by-law proposed by the committee was adopted by Town Meeting in October 2025.

Actively participated in 12 Tree Preservation Planning Committee meetings. The committee is aiming to propose a tree preservation by-law at the fall 2026 Special Town Meeting.
